Begining

First a brief introduction. I'm a 20-something political science grad student. I'll be done with my Master's in May. I am planning on pursuing my Ph.D. - but first I'll be taking a year off (I need to read books of my own choosing for a while!). This blog will mostly focus on cooking - my favorite thing to do besides read - but I've little doubt that the occasional political rant will make it's way in. I am currently vegetarian, but everything I post here will be vegan. Cheese is it's own food group in my family, so that is my last sticking point. I'm working on it...
