The Reason I Approximate

This is off my Bright Light Swiss Chard plant. And this is the reason some of my recipes call for "approximate" amounts of dark leafy greens - three or four leaves are more than enough for most recipes. Just thought you should know.

This is why you should eat more Swiss Chard - look at that nuritional profile!

beautiful! Swiss Chard is my favorite leafy green. It never fits in any of my bags at the store so I have to carry it out and then sometimes it doesn't fit in the fridge!

Thanks Jeni - B gets credit for the picture as I was busy holding the behemoth. My new camera (because I never did find my other one) has a fun setting where you can isolate one color and the rest of the picture goes black and white.

Lazysmurf - I know it. If I inadvertently pick too much I have to stem it and fold it over on itself before I can fit into a bag and stash it in the 'fridge.
